Graphics
Our graphic artists can produce your specific art from many different file types, including adobe illustrator, eps or pdf. They can also create your design from a print or sample.
We have a wide format ink jet printer that is capable of printing a 46” wide graphic. We have adhesive vinyl and backlight film readily available. If your project calls for printing on another media we can order any industry recognized material.
Mil Spec also offers cold laminating up to 30” wide using high gloss clear or non-reflective textured lexan. These services will help make your project more durable, scratch resistant and washable. Application of adhesive to the back of your selected material is also available.
Silkscreen
Mil Spec has an excellent silkscreen department with the capabilities of getting your silkscreen part from print to completion. The art can be produced by our graphics department and then printed onto a film positive. We can also use your supplied art film positive. We will prep a screen and process it for the ink application. Our printers have expertise in printing multiple colors and overlays. We are also capable of printing on multi-dimensional parts.
We will print your parts with ink color of your choice. Basic ink colors we carry in house. The inks we use are a permanent, two component epoxy based ink and offer excellent adhesion. It can be cured at elevated and/or room temperature. We have had great success with our ink when it was applied on electronic components, aerospace parts, and industrial and commercial parts.
We also do engrave filling. You engrave your part and we will fill it with the ink color you select. We enjoyed great success with both military and commercial parts, painted or just anodized.
